The optical interface and electrical interface of this 1000M series of Ethernet transceivers are perfectly compliant with IEEE802.3 and IEEE802.3ab standards.

Its operating rate on optical path and electrical path can achieve 1000MB/s,while maximum transmission distance on single-mode fiber is 80KM. Therefore it applies to city backbone network transmission. This device is mainly used to link Gigabit Ethernet. It extends the network transmission distance by its own optoelectronic conversion; meanwhile it can expand the network bandwidth

up to 1000M. All Gigabit Ethernet-standard network equipments such as exchanger, router can interconnect it. It supports access of community, integrated office buildings and business users.
